Inspired by the majestic San Salvatore mountain near Lake Lugano, this artwork embodies independence and inner strength. A crimson-sailed boat, a personal tribute to her father and Alexander Grin’s "Red Sails," symbolizes self-reliance and the pursuit of dreams without awaiting a savior. Reflecting the artist’s Latvian heritage, the painting draws unexpected resonance from the nearby Rainis and Aspazija Museum, honoring the Latvian poets’ exile in Switzerland. "Sovereignty" is an ode to spiritual freedom and resilience.
